alex (axel) is currently working as an operations, web developer, and financial agent at an art agency located in the berkshires of western massachusetts. 

arriving in massachusetts in 2014, her participation in the berkshire hills internship program through mcla allowed her to become active in arts communities in the hilltowns, berkshires, and abroad. axel transitioned from student and education roles at the arizona state university art museum and ceramic research center to various roles within ferrin contemporary and the project art residency programming. axel was an artist in residence at project art from 2014-2019, and her specialty in contemporary ceramic art grew with her collection management, arts administration, and project coordination background. 

this has led to explorations into website development and ux design, individual research, and various professional and creative projects.
